Saffron is obtained from the Crocus Sativus flower. Our processing is completely done by hand with strict procedures both in the field and in the transformation. The flowers are collected early in the morning before sunrise to avoid contamination of the stigmas and transported in laboratory. The overflow is manual and the dehydration in ventilated ovens takes place at a low temperature so as to preserve the hygiene and the best possible quality. The expiry date is 2 years for a product that is always excellent. The saffron is rich in carotenoids, vitamin A, B1, B2. I saffron has a floral aroma in the first months of harvest and becomes intense over time.
