DESCRIPTION

Saffron is obtained from the Crocus Sativus flower. Our processing is completely done by hand with strict procedures both in the field and in the transformation. The flowers are collected early in the morning before sunrise to avoid contamination of the stigmas and transported in laboratory. The overflow is manual and the dehydration in ventilated ovens takes place at a low temperature so as to preserve the hygiene and the best possible quality. The expiry date is 2 years for a product that is always excellent. The saffron is rich in carotenoids, vitamin A, B1, B2. I saffron has a floral aroma in the first months of harvest and becomes intense over time.

PROPERTY

Promotes digestion and improves mood, is a powerful antioxidant and its use effectively counteracts free radicals, responsible for cellular aging. It is ideal for fast and quality cooking and can also be used only for nutraceutical properties.

METHOD OF USE

  • 1st Method: Soak about 6 - 9 stigmas per portion in a glass of water or milk (100 ml depending on the recipe) for many hours and preferably until the stigmas have not become completely white . Add at the end of cooking trying not to evaporate too much. Remember that the saffron releases its properties after a long time of infusion.
  • 2st Method:Close the stigmas in baking paper or a food paper and with a spoon rub on the paper so the stigmas will not be crushed. Add at the end of cooking trying not to evaporate too much. You can leave some stigma to garnish
